A broader reality
Many people associate homelessness mainly with visible situations, such as sleeping on the street. However, most people experiencing homelessness are not visibly homeless.
They often live in unstable, temporary or hidden conditions — staying with others, moving between institutions, or living in insecure housing.
What we see is only a small part of the reality.
Most homelessness happens out of sight — in institutions, in insecure housing, in the homes of strangers.

Rooflessness
People living rough — sleeping in the open air, in a public space, or using emergency accommodation overnight. This is the form of homelessness we see. It's also the smallest share of the total population experiencing homelessness.
